The world famous theme park at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California has a lot to offer. If you think that the rides are the only thing that make this park great, think again. There are so many attractions at Disneyland Resort that you won’t need to go anywhere else but the theme park if you ask us! We’re not saying that you should leave the parks all together – far from it. But sometimes, we just want to go to a theme park and have some fun for once instead of working or studying or doing other things. So where do you go when you want to find the most popular and exciting attractions?
Pirates of the Caribbean
The Ride This is the first Disneyland attraction that comes to mind when you think of popular rides. It is also one of the most requested rides at Disneyland. And for good reason – it is thrilling, fast-paced, and offers amazing views of the Disneyland lands. It is a water ride, so you are sure to feel the ocean breeze on your face as you take this ride. There are two versions of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland – Davy Jones’ Locker and Adventureland. You will find this ride close to the Grand Lagoon in Disneyland.
Cinderella Castle II
This is the centerpiece of the entire Disneyland Park, so it makes sense that it would be at the very top of our list. Cinderella Castle is actually the second Castle to grace the halls of Disneyland. The first one was built in Disneyland in 1967, but it was destroyed in a fire in 1971. Cinderella Castle II was built in Disneyland in 1982, and it is the current home of the Princess and the Prince. The two castles are connected by a bridge that spans the moat outside the castle walls.
Cinderella’s Royal Table
This is actually a restaurant located inside Cinderella Castle at Disneyland Park, and it is one of the most popular attractions there as well. The menu features American cuisine and is the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or celebrate the end of a long day at the parks. You can also book table service at this restaurant and get your food sent up in the air to your room via helicopter.
New Fantasyland
This is actually a fictional World of Disney attraction that is part of Disneyland Park. Like many of the other fantasy lands at Disney World, it is a reversal of what you would expect from a fantasy land. The lands are very charming and the entertainment is fun and lighthearted. The Fantasyland storyline follows a young boy who becomes enamored with an old castle and its fairy tale inhabitants.
